This program provides state funds to support county land and water conservation activities in Wisconsin. Counties with an approved Land and Water Resource Management Plan may apply for SWRM grant funding, and the program also includes annual allocations for county staff and support, structural cost share, nutrient management support, and engineering reserve awards. It also makes additional awards for Nutrient Management Farmer Education and statewide project cooperators.
