This program provides grants to eligible Friends Groups for the maintenance and operations of Wisconsin state parks, southern state forests, state trails, or state recreation areas. Grants support approved projects such as interpretive programs, accessibility improvements, special events and public information, habitat restoration, and basic facility operations and maintenance. Awards are matched by the Friends Group's endowment interest and are limited to half of the group's match, up to $30,000 per year per property.
