This program provides grants to counties with lands enrolled in the County Forest Law for special, short-term, or unanticipated projects that promote sustainable forestry. Eligible projects are intended to address storm-related needs, temporary staff needs, or other short-term forestry workload projects, and certain expenses such as land acquisition and permanent staff are not allowed.
